August, 2010Starting next September we will accept online payments via PayPal or Visa, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A simple process will allow you to pay quickly and securely online: 1- When your Teledac order is ready to go, we will send you an e-mail with your detailed invoice in Pdf format. 2- Almost at the same time, you will see another e-mail in your inbox, but coming from PayPal and referring to the same invoice number and total. Their e-mail will also include a link to access their secured site in order to make your payment and complete the transaction. (you don't even need a PayPal account if you have one of above credit cards) 3- In the following minutes, we receive a payment notice from them and resume your order shipment. June, 2010 L & D Cable from Churchill, Manitoba just went back "On Air" with a new Community Message Channel. They took advantage of our trade-in program to get a new stand-alone I-Mk-II unit. It replaces a T-1016 display unit acquired in 1989. If you own one of our previous generation display unit such as the T-1016, T-1122, T-1144, T-1300, R-1300 or T-1532, you could also advantageously upgrade. You only need to send us a brief e-mail with your model and serial numbers. This program could generate a significant saving for each Teledac unit replaced. March, 2010 Reminder: Since 2007, Dates for the Daylight Saving Time have changed. IRISTEXT units designed before 2007 are programmed (in automatic mode) to go on Daylight Saving Time on previous dates (1st Sunday of April, 2 Am to last Sunday in October 2, Am). Consequently, if you are concerned by this change, your Iristext unit must now be set to manual mode, otherwise its clock will go forward (or backward) by one hour at the wrong time. Thereafter, those living in a region where new DST time dates have been adopted, will have to do DST and Normal Time changes manually by adjusting the clock, twice a year at the right time. September, 2009 Teledac Product Line Information on Iristext-Mark has been revised to include I-Mk V and to improve the quality in PDF format. The system is used to broadcast 24 hours a day, Classified Ads with digital photos and local events announcements. This CATV system provides service to Warwick, Kingsey Falls and St-Félix de Kingsey, Quebec. May, 2009 The "Coopérative Antenne TV St-Zacharie" is now using the I-Reach software to prepare their local ads and announcements. This information is broadcasted by an IRISTEXT-4000 located at their CATV head end. All information is being prepared remotely via Internet. If you use a standalone Iristext unit such as the I-MKI, I-MkII, I-4000-Jr, I-4000-SRC or I-4000-SR, please let us know. To receive a quote, send us a brief e-mail with your model and serial numbers. Some of the I-MkII, I-4000-SRC or I-4000-SR units are ready for I-Reach without modification. February 25, 2009 Hydro-Québec acquires another Tellimage-MP system for workers information broadcasting. The site of this new installation is unknown. Their first Tellimage-Mp was installed in 2004 at the base camp of the Peribonka hydroelectric project. July 11, 2008 Following a recent price adjustment, Teledac Inc is announcing that the free telephone support periods are changing. Starting with all new systems ordered on or after July 15, 2008 support periods will be 60 days for Iristext Mark units and 1 year for Tellimage systems. June 26, 2008 Introducing Iristext Mark V, this new model includes an overlay feature to insert text messages, graphic elements or a crawl banner over an incoming video signal. All address details are posted at : how to reach us. February 15, 2008 The City of Lac-Bouchette, Qc goes on air on their Community Channel with an up-graded IRISTEXT-4000-Sr system. Previously, they were using a standalone I-4000-Sr for message broadcasting. The up-grade includes the I-Reach software to enter information directly from their PC. January 17, 2008 Persona Communications upgrades their "BROADCAST NEWS" channel with a Teledac I-Mark-BN in Whitecourt, Alberta. The same I-Mark-BN system was previously selected in February 2007 and June 2006 for similar applications in Peace River and Grande Prairie. December 18, 2007 The Community Communications Co-op (La Coopérative des Communications Communautaire Ltée) of Wellington P.E.I., has remplaced his Iristext-4000-Jr message generator by an TELLIMAGE-MP system. The new system will be used to broadcast a community cable channel, called "Télé-communautaire Évangéline". It broadcasts, in the region, community information around the clock and a weekly TV bingo. October 26, 2007 "TVC de la vallée de la Matapédia" from Amqui, QC acquired the I-Reach software to prepare their communiqués. These messages are then broadcasted by an IRISTEXT-MkII video message generator. Previously, they were using the I-MkII in standalone mode to enter the information. I-Reach now gives them full off-line editing, without interfering the message cycle broadcast. Previously, they were using a standalone I-4000-Jr for message broadcasting. The up-grade includes the I-Reach software to enter information directly from their PC. July 27, 2007 Burgeo Broadcasting System Ltd from Burgeo Newfoundland took advantage of our trade-in program to purchase a new I-Mk-III unit. It replaces a T-1300 display unit acquired in the 1990. This is the second T-1300 that this CATV operator replaces under the program. A year before, a T-1300 was replaced by an Iristext-4000. If you own one of our previous generation display unit such as the T-1016, T1122, T-1144, T-1300, R-1300 or T-1532, you could also advantageously upgrade. July 20, 2007 Many Teledac manuals and user guides are now available in Pdf format. More will become available during the summer. March 10, 2007 Daylight Saving Time , Date Change. All IRISTEXT units (in automatic mode) are programmed to go on Daylight Saving Time from the first Sunday of April at 2 am until the last Sunday in October at 2 am. These dates have now been changed. Consequently, all Iristext units must now be set to manual mode, otherwise the clock will advance by another hour 3 weeks after the new effective dates. From now on, Daylight Saving Time and Normal Time changes must be done manually at the right time. March 1st, 2007 Rogers Television goes on air with Teledac for their CATV systems in Grand Falls, Corner Brook and Botwood, Newfoundland. TELLIMAGE-MP systems were selected to inform communities in Grand Falls, Corner Brook while an Iristext-MK was installed in Botwood. February 26, 2007 Persona Communications upgrades their "BROADCAST NEWS" channel with a Teledac I-Mark-BN in Peace River, Alberta. The system includes a crawl option for local messages. This Teledac unit replaces a Compuvid SG-3 from Texscan MSI. The same I-Mark-BN system was previously selected in June 2006 for a similar application in Grande Prairie. November 17, 2006 Videotron make use of the "Express-Message" function to keep subscribers posted about a change on their channel line-up. The information is crawled over a semi-transparent band at the bottom of APTN screen announcing that TheShoppingChannel has been moved to channel 6. July 20, 2006 Our Saving Corner has been updated.
